It is finished. Yet another quarter under our college-belts. Overall, I really enjoyed all aspects of this course. I loved christening my blogging career. Of all types of writing Ive been asked to do, the free-form nature of blogging really allows me to incorporate my (probably only) strong-suit of good "voice" to each piece. I also loved the incorporation of discussion about current events into class, daily. I really think staying up to date with what is going on is paramount to being an intellectual member of society and not sounding completely ignorant whenever a topic (that should be known) is brought up. I plan to keep the NY Times tab in my standard initial-website-rotation (along with email, facebook, ESPN, etc..) everytime I open the computer.
As this may be the last post, id like to take this time to thank thank my loyal viewers for racking up an impressive 173 blog views. As I have nothing to compare that seemingly gargantuan number to, I dont actually know if its high or low, and as such, if any of you followers have substantially more page views, please keep it to yourself, and let me bask in the pride im feeling at this moment.
Cheers.
I agree that blogs give you a chance to use your voice, it's what I really like about them as well. I also think I'll keep the NY Times tab in my current rotation also, its good to be up to date. Initially when I saw 173 blogs views I was prepared to share mine, but having read the complete post I'll let you bask in your pride.
ReplyDeleteYou had a consistently engaging voice in these posts, Kyle. They made blog reading more enjoyable. I totally agree that being informed on what's happening in the world is part of being an intellectual member of society. Good thing to be.
